Today I intended to harvest the rest of the green beans and tear down all the rotting vines in preparation for planting of new things.  I say Green Bean Minutes instead of “Green Bean Afternoon” or “Green Bean Day” because I count the time I’m free to do something with both hands in minutes.  Got the Green Beans down and the vines pulled off as desired…Nolan wasn’t too happy towards the end though as he sat in his stroller watching, even though we took multiple breaks to eat, take a walk around the block, and just be held awhile,  so the jaunt back to the house consisted of Nolan in my arms and the green beans in the stroller.  I love carry a warm bundle around in my arms!  Especially when it’s my baby boy.

Nolan’s eyes are still a beautiful steely grey-blue.  We know they may change as he gets bigger, but they keep getting clearer and clearer and the color is holding!  It would be pretty neat if he ends up having blue eyes, as my mom is the only one of our parents with blue eyes.

Ben has started playing his guitar and singing to Nolan and he’s been pretty enraptured with it for good stretches of time!  He definitely finds it more interesting than everything else except eating, so it’s assuredly second on his list for entertainment.
